On December 7, 2023, SAS Vehicle Trading and Services Company Limited proudly participated in the Kaizen Marathon hosted by Toyota Iraq in Erbil. This event, now in its second year, focused on the sales and after-sales service categories.

The competition underscored the significance of the Kaizen principle, a cornerstone of the Toyota production system. Rooted in the Japanese philosophy of "change for the better," Kaizen advocates continuous improvement to elevate productivity and foster a culture of comprehensive quality.

SAS participated with its team in an event alongside 32 teams comprising various Toyota dealers. They presented detailed presentations lasting for 15 minutes, addressing operational issues using the Kaizen concept. The team from the Sulaymaniyah branch secured the first position in sales, while the Erbil team achieved the second position in service. We take great joy in being part of this inspiring initiative.

This competition not only tested our ability to address obstacles but also encouraged us to eliminate waste (Muda), tackle inequality (Mura), and manage significant burdens (Muri). By focusing on gradual enhancements, we aimed to provide sustainable solutions and meet our goals throughout the year.
The marathon also included a comprehensive knowledge competition about Toyota, adding an enriching dimension to the event.

In essence, SAS Vehicle Trading and Services Company Limited sees the Kaizen Marathon as a transformative experience. Our active participation reflects our commitment to organizational change and continuous improvement.
